A witty name that celebrates fearless, chef-driven snacking where bold baking flavors flip the kitchen table on boring paleo snacks.
Granola Mama started out as a small farmers market brand founded by chef-entrepreneurs Keisha and Gloriana. They are both trained chefs and exercise enthusiasts who created grain-free, nutrient-dense snacks with bold flavors that pushed boundaries in healthy snacking. The original name felt limiting and didn’t communicate the expertise, adventurousness, or broader potential of the brand’s expanding product lines. They needed a master brand name that could grow beyond non-granola into a full line of snacks, convey their culinary chops, and speak to health-conscious consumers who still crave fun and indulgence.
We rebranded the name Kitchun®, a playful nod to the kitchen and the founders’ chef-driven creativity. The “UN” was intentionally chosen to signal their approach to snacking: unapologetically different, fearless, and the opposite of the norm. The accompanying tagline Fearless Fooding® signals a bold, playful approach to food where creativity and flavor lead the way.The name created playful creative real estate for hilarious product names that reflected the founders’ wit and humor. We named the product lines Batch, Please® for cookies and cheeky flavors like Jane Ain’t So Plain® and Cocoa You Didn’t® reinforcing the brand’s witty, chef-driven personality.

Kitchun was the perfect name for a brand run by women who refuse to play it safe. The product names were hilarious, the packaging practically designed itself, and the photoshoot involved equal parts flavor, laughter, and a little kitchen-table rebellion. Yes, we had them flip the kitchen table, literally.
